Flying in the Yukon & Sharing the Gospel

March 22nd, 2008 Posted in General Jackson Lake I’m a Salvation Army Officer. In the Yukon. There’s only one other such person, that would be my wife Johannah. The Yukon isn’t too overly populated. But there are plenty of opportunities for flying, fishing, hunting and sharing the message of God’s Grace. This is an aerial shot of Jackson Lake near Whitehorse. Daniel’s Landrover is down there somewhere. I fly a Cessna 120. More pictures of flying through the bush later.

With the help of my Ipaq, I’m going to include links to audio files of the messages I share along with photos of the places I go. I hope you listen to them – they won’t be very long.

Besides running a corps (pronounce “core”) (that’s Salvation Army talk for church), thrift store, soup kitchen, shelter and halfway house for corrections, we keep busy traveling around trying to keep up with our 6 grandchildren.
